HOW DO I PLAY?
After logging in via the app which you download to your smartphone or tablet, you simply tap the answer on your screen. Either:
- First letter of the answer
- The correct multiple choice option
- The correct digits for a number (how many, what year, etc)
- Tap a list of things in the order required.
The fastest few teams to answer correctly score bonus points. It’s not just about getting them right, you need to be fast - that’s SpeedQuizzing!

THE FIRST SPEEDQUIZZING HOST IN LONDON!
I began my SpeedQuizzing career back in 2012, when I introduced London and Hertfordshire to this amazing new interactive quiz format. With a background of over three decades of DJ’ing and radio hosting, I’m no stranger to performing to the public to great success!
I now host SpeedQuizzing events every week at several venues. Most are weekly, but others in areas where the population size doesn’t suit a weekly quiz are fortnightly or monthly. My SpeedQuizzing nights are not only for highly populated towns and cities; this works in smaller towns and villages too!
In the event of multiple bookings, I have several other freelance hosts who I am able to assign to other events. These hosts also do an amazing job of keeping our SpeedQuizzing nights lively!

SUNDAYS:

We think this might be the busiest quiz night in north London! I’ve been hosting here every Sunday night since 2017.
TUESDAYS:
The Jolly Postie, Royston, Herts
The Chieftain, Welwyn Garden City, Herts
The Maltsters, Cheshunt, Herts
These three McMullen’s venues have us to host on Tuesdays. You’ll find Owen every week in Royston, Shaun weekly in WGC, and every other Tuesday XXXXXX host SpeedQuizzing in Cheshunt. You’re spolt for choice!
FRIDAYS:
Small but perfectly formed, we’ve been packing up to ten teams into this Western Road pub once a month on the last Friday since 2018.
MONDAYS:
The Queens Arms, New Barnet, Herts
The Black Horse, Chorleywood, Herts
SpeedQuizzing London began in Barnet in 2012, and we’re still going strong twice a month on every second and fourth Monday. Every first Monday of the month, you’ll find me in Chorleywood at The Black Horse hosting to a full house!
WEDNESDAYS:
The Caldecotte Pub & Grill, Milton Keynes
Still packing them in with up to 20 teams every Wednesday since 2018! This large pub/restaurant gets filled up every Wednesday with the liveliest quizzers in MK.
THURSDAYS ARE AVAILABLE FOR WEEKLY, MONTHLY OR FORTNIGHTLY EVENTS AND PRIVATE BOOKINGS. PLEASE ENQUIRE ABOUT AVAILABILITY.
